The new accommondation, Karolinehaven is located in Aalborg's new large urban area, where the gigantic Danish Eternit Factory was located.

In collaboration with the real estate and development company Søren Enggaard A/S, Junckers A/S has contributed with the beautiful, solid and sustainable wooden floors to the new construction.

The vision is a sustainable district where you can both live, work and have all your daily needs met. The 100 bright and spacious apartments, in a modern and timeless design, have all had the beautiful 22mm thick Junckers Beech Sylvaket wooden floor installed.

Coloured throughout by using a unique colouring technique a warm golden glow with an exclusive expression is achieved. Beech is also one of Europe's most widespread wood species with excellent strength properties and together with its uniform structure, makes Beech very suitable for flooring. 

Ideal for use in multi unit housing and large public spaces, Junckers’ solid wood floors are durable and easy to maintain, as well as FSC® and PEFC certified, contributing towards the building’s environmentally sustainable profile.
