SUSTAINABLE BUILDING DELIVERED AS FINISHED MODULES

Folden in Roskilde, Denmark is built different than traditional housing. The project was quickly built as prefabricated modules, were delivered to the building site.

Sustainable modular construction is gaining ground

It takes only 6 weeks to finish a blok with apartments. This is possible as 90 % of the modules are finished at the factory. 

Wood-based modular construction is clearly the sustainable construction methodology of today and the future. 

3300 m² of Junckers Solid Oak flooring with an ultramat lacquered surface was chosen for the 60  apartments in Roskilde.

The hardwood floor was installed with Junckers Clip System
