Chevalier College

MAPLE FLOOR FOR NEW MULTI-PURPOSE HALL

Working closely with JDH Architects and Grindley Constructions, Maxwood Technology provided Chevalier College with a FIBA certified Junkers sports floor in the wood species Maple Champion. 

The Multi-Purpose Hall incorporates a multi games court for basketball, netball, volleyball and badminton. The hall also includes a retractable seating unit for 700 seats to facilitate school assemblies and masses held by the College.

Junckers sub-construction UnoBat 62+ was chosen. This particular sub-construction is a batten based solution and it also features a unique adjustable and locking wedge system making it easy to level and accommodate the flatness of the hardwood flooring to all types of uneven subfloors.
