Oak Nordic features a lightly white-tinted surface that gives the floor a bright, Nordic appearance while highlighting the wood’s beautiful natural grain.

The brushed surface emphasises the structure of the wood. A special brushing technique removes the soft wood from the surface, thus emphasising the grain of the wood.

Oak is known for its durability, making it highly suitable for flooring. One of the most admired qualities of an oak floor is its distinctive grain pattern. The natural lines formed as oak trees grow and age give oak flooring its unique and individual character.

Oak floors are among the most durable hardwood floors available. A true hardwood species, oak has been used for flooring for centuries, and it is not uncommon to find oak floors that are hundreds of years old and still in excellent condition. Its subtle colour deepens over time, and as a natural material, it becomes an integral part of the room.

The grade variation has a rustic look with substantial colour and structural graining variation between the individual planks. Extensive areas with lighter tones of colour are seen along the grain pattern and in the sapwood. Several small and large knots and natural fine splits occur.  Knots and other irregularities are to the greatest extent possible factory filled with a one colour filler.
