High-performance sports flooring for modern school gymnasium
Virginia Academy in Ashburn, Virginia, features a modern indoor sports hall designed to meet the demands of daily school use and competitive sports. The project covers 1250 m² and is installed with Junckers 22 mm Beech – Variation, combined with the UnoBat 45 sports floor system.
The solution was selected by the architect and contractor due to its high performance characteristics, reliable warranty, and optimal construction height, making it well suited for a multi-purpose school sports environment. The finished floor provides excellent shock absorption, durability, and consistent playing conditions, particularly for basketball and general sports activities.
The light beech surface enhances the spatial experience of the hall, while the clearly marked courts and integrated branding support both functionality and visual identity.
