Junckers Debuts Innovative Court Design with New Print Technology

As 24 of Europe’s top basketball nations take the court for FIBA EuroBasket 2025, it’s not just the on-court action catching the eye. Junckers, Official Technical Supplier to FIBA, is unveiling their new innovative custom print solution that transforms the court into a dynamic visual experience.

Traditionally, basketball courts are manually painted—a method that limits designs to basic shapes and solid colors. Effects such as shadows, 3D illusions, gradients, and transparent elements are almost impossible to achieve by hand[JB1] .

But with Junckers’ new print technology, court designs can now feature depth effects, color transitions, and layered transparency—enabling captivating visual details that enhance the tournament’s design theme. This breakthrough opens the door to creative possibilities previously out of reach, all without compromising on court performance or safety.

“Court design has been an important aspect of basketball games for a long time, but we’re now seeing it take center stage. Today, the floor does more than just host the game—it helps define the theme and set the stage for the tournament,” says Thomas Bendixen, CEO of Junckers.

The new printed flooring system debuts today across multiple venues for EuroBasket 2025, which is co-hosted by Cyprus, Finland, Latvia, and Poland. Already proven in professional settings, Junckers’ printed floor panels enable tournament organizers to elevate the spectator and sponsor experience while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

A Court That Tells a Story

Each edition of FIBA’s basketball tournaments has its own unique identity. This year, FIBA describes the official EuroBasket 2025 theme with the official slogan ‘Make Your Mark', which urges players and teams to leave their imprint alongside the European greats who have graced the storied history of the competition.

Meanwhile the visual identity of FIBA EuroBasket 2025 creates a strong, bold appearance to enable a lasting impression for the 42nd edition of Europe's flagship competition.

Each of the four host cities of Limassol, Tampere, Katowice and Riga is represented with specific color combinations within the visual identity, while the official logo of the competition is comprised of modern graphic elements with a slick, architectural construction.

Junckers’ innovative print technology brings that vision to life—transforming the court into a visual extension of the tournament’s story.

Now, all that remains is to see how the story ends—and who will lift the trophy.
