A new Junckers hardwood sports floor has been installed at Brockville YMCA in Canada, creating a high-quality playing surface with bespoke court markings and graphics.

Working alongside Junckers' exclusive Canadian distributor, Total Sport Solutions and Andre Construction, the project team installed more than 6,700 sq ft of Junckers’ FIBA-approved UnoBat 45 hardwood sports flooring system.

A professional hardwood sports flooring system

UnoBat 45 is a hardwood flooring system developed for sports. For the Brockville YMCA project, the system provides the foundation for a multi-purpose sports floor designed around the requirements of the facility.

The installation was completed with custom colour-matched logos, keys and line markings, giving the court its distinctive identity while integrating the different elements into the overall floor design.

The finished floor combines the natural appearance of solid hardwood with the technical requirements of a dedicated sports flooring system.

A collaborative installation

The project was delivered in collaboration with Junckers’ exclusive distributor Total Sport Solutions and Andre Construction, with Fraser Gray and the wider team bringing Junckers into the project.

The completed Brockville YMCA sports hall demonstrates how a Junckers hardwood sports flooring system can be combined with bespoke court design to create a distinctive setting for sport and the local community.
